Macaulay Sinclair is an interior architecture and design practice specialising in high-end hospitality interiors for the likes of Hawksmoor, Inamo and Wagamama. Having worked together on several projects over the years, they recently asked us to devise a full rebrand and website to better represent their studio’s values.
We devised an elegant and succinct logotype, set with a monogram inspired by architectural drawing symbols. A minimalist aesthetic carries a feeling of understated elegance throughout printed and digital materials, with a monotone palette for stationery, drawing sheets and the website itself.
The stationery is tactile and elegant, with high-quality paper stocks and a black gloss foil. The website presents large images, with only essential copy allowing projects room to breathe. Built responsively using a flexible grid system, the site scales elegantly across various screen sizes.
